Out of Town Emergency
In late September, I had to go to Chicago to help with a family emergency. I considered boarding my two dogs at my vet but I thought they would be happier at home. I contacted Luci. She came out with Chris. They got the "lay of the land" and while I was gone, everything went exceptionally well. I even got a progress report upon my return. Thanks for great service Luci!

Our In-Home Zoo
I am a local pet sitter and when we need to be away from home we trust our pets to Luci and Precious Paws Pet Sitting. We have 2 senior dogs; one is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice daily, the other is going deaf and has severe arthritis in her hips. We also have numerous exotic birds - very large parrots to very small parrots. We are VERY particular about the care of our pets and the birds always pose a challange especially the large ones. Luci has mastered the care of our birds and doesn't back down when the larger ones decide to have "fun" with her. She has done an excellent job with the dogs and the birds each time we have used her service. We highly recommend Precious Paws for our pet care needs and we often use her company to care for our clients when we are away. Precious Paws is a credit to the profession. Exceptional care
Dear Luci, Thank you very much for the exceptional care you gave my eight precious friends while my husband and I were away. We have skipped vacation many years because we could not find care that we thought suitable for our priceless companions. While they are all a touch over indulged at times, we both feel that their meticulous and careful treatment is the least we can do to return all that they give to us. I am thrilled that we have finally found someone else who also shares this opinion and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure that they are safe and happy. I could not possibly be more impressed with the outstanding service you have provided. That you again for the wonderful work on behalf of all of my little angels. ~~At Peace~~
This was our 1st experience of using a pet-sitter,Our dogs have always been boarded.When we have picked them up I have had one fur-baby limping and another time he had his ear caught and neither incindent was ever noticed nor mentioned to us.I found this upsetting,not wanting to take them back. We recently went out of town,Luci came over ment all the fur-kids, Luci never hearing of a sugarglider instantly wanted to read up and see what they were all about,and she never batted an eye. Luci made nightly phone calls as requested to ensure us that all was well.With a report on how my babies were and how they were responding I knew she was paying attention to them.I felt more at peace and was able to relax,knowing that everything was being checked on while we were away.When asking her to make one more visit as our arrival was later than planned(imagine that!)She was more than happy to accodomate. I find it hard to trust my fur-babies with just anyone,and I would recommond this service and will be using her services in the future! Thank you Luci!! Don & Glennes O'Connor

Awesome Service
We used Precious Paws when my wife had our daughter, and they were prompt, professional, and very caring. We met Lucy and Caryn about a week beforehand and they went through a very thorough list of questions to learn how to take care of our two large dogs, one of which is "geriatric" and has difficulty with the stairs in our house. They instantly put my wife and I's minds at ease with their thoroughness, and professionalism. When my wife went into labor, we called them the next morning and they came right over and fed, played, and watered the dogs. They were prompt, and they got along great with our dogs. When we got home two days later, the dogs were great, the house was in great shape, and we were very pleased. We will definitely use their service again as our older dog is too old to go to a kennel, and this worked great for us. We would also highly recommend them to all of our dog-loving friends as they did an excellent job, and were very affordable. We've spent much more on kennels only to come home to two dogs who were more neurotic than when we dropped them off.
